    Rosh Hashanah denotes the start of the days of Awe, which are the ten days from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur. These days are used for introspection and reflection on the mistakes of the past year and the changes to make for the coming year.

    Yom Kippur - Jewish day of Atonement. The holiest day of the Jewish year is observed with strict fasting and ceremonial repentance. Begins October 11th at sundown and ends at nightfall on October the 12th.
